Our Story
About Awakenings Ministry
Awakenings Ministry offers guided Spiritual Direction, Counsel and Equine Assisted Partnership in beautiful Central Washington. Inviting healing change is a courageous step. It is a privilege and honor to support Individuals, couples, military, ministry teams locally and globally, along this journey since 2009.
Karynn King, Director, began a career as a Ministry Director in 1993 in Chicago, Illinois, after studying Biology and Psychology at Benedictine University. Karynn worked along side brilliant doctors while being trained in Medicine, Medical Research and Ministry Leadership Development at a large church in the Chicagoland area.
Equine Assisted Partnership is offered for those who suffer with symptoms of post traumatic stress, anxiety, depression and grief; providing profound results in restoring resilience. Military or civilian, individuals and group settings are available.

Karynn combines her lifelong passion for horses with Spiritual Direction and Counseling, offering Equine Assisted Partnership for those suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression, and grief. Her approach provides profound results in restoring resilience for military and civilian clients, in both individual and group settings.
